"candy you ate as a kid" story?
Share it here.I remember when I was little my mom would always set out a big bubbled glass bowl just full of circus peanuts. Always after my piano lesson. I would rush through the chords, rush through chopsticks and boogie woogie, pushing my little fingers in hopes that the circus peanuts wouldn’t disappear before I was done.
And what a reward they were. I remember popping one into my mouth and just smiling, my piano teacher laughing. Now whenever I eat one I can feel my old living room, I can see the overflowing, orange bowl. Whenever I eat one I always smile. ~ Mark from Pennsylvania
