I was SO excited to become an adult and buy a Cherry Mash! My mother would eat them when I & my siblings were small. She told us they were only for adults, and WE BELIEVED HER!! I remember her watching soap operas in the afternoon, eating a Cherry Mash, and drinking Coke with lemon. (Another "adult only" beverage). Even now when I eat one, I feel grown up and decadent!

I love the recipe on the wrapper for Cherry Mash sundaes-they are excellent! I have made them for my family, and my kids think their Grandma's chicanery is hilarious. I guess in retrospect I agree, as it was a very unique way to keep me from eating my Mother's candy. ~ Laura from Kansas
