"candy you ate as a kid" story?
Share it here. When my brother and I were young children and would drive to Nebraska where most of our family lived and both my parents had grown up, my dad could not do without 3 things. Stopping at the first rest stop across the Iowa border, coffee, and a cherry mash. He said he grew up eating them and he remembered when he'd run down the street and get them for 10 cents. Usually by the end of his cherry mash it was all over the steering wheel and his shirt, but I don't think I could think about my dad without thinking about cherry mash. ~ Johanna from Illinois
