Share it here.My dad and I were in a 7-11 one day and he saw this candy for the first time, the Charleston Chew. He took one look at it and exploded laughing and grabbed me and said, "Mia! Do you remember the story I told you about this guy?!" and he proceeded to tell me that when he was building my grandmother's house, late one night in the cul-de-sac, a man came wandering around the street, and handed my dad a candy bar, saying he invented it, and the man began to sing, "Chew Chew Chew, the Charleston Chew!"
The way my dad's head bobbed as he sang the song cracked me up so now every time we go into a convenient store and see them, we sing that song together, laugh, and then buy one to share. They're SO GREAT for road trips! ~ Mia from Florida
