"candy you ate as a kid" story?
Share it here.I remember that we never had much money in the day. That made treats so much more special. So when my dad got chocolate covered cherries, they were always Cella's in that beautiful red foil. I would always unwrap them carefully, so that I could have the foil in one piece. Then I could use it for my dolls.
I would help him with his second job to get it done quicker, nobody minded in those days. Then sometimes he would buy those yummy cherries. He showed me how to eat them properly...
1. Nibble a little hole in the bottom corner.
2. Suck the juice out.
3. Then eat the bottom.
4. Eat the yummy cherry.
5. Enjoy the chocolate!
Dad has passed now, but the memories are still here. Especially when I enjoy a Cello's chocolate covered cherry. ~ Sharon from Massachusetts
