I loved these caramels as a child, and still do. I used to put one in my mouth and see if I could suck on it until it was gone. I never could!! I always seemed to lose my resolve and I'd just have to chew it.
By far, my favorite memory of these little caramels, is making caramel apples with my grandma in the autumn each year. We would sit and unwrap a bunch of caramels, and put them in a big bowl. (We would have to eat a couple of course!) Then she would heat them up until they were all melted. Then we would dip our apples into the hot gooey stuff. Mmm...
