I remember when I was around 11 me and my girl friends would run to the store every Wednesday and grab some caramels and then someone would open the fire hydrants and we would stand under the fire hydrant trying to stay cool and eat our caramels. All the other kids would ask us for some and we would make them share a few. There must have been 10 kids and we did not want to give our caramels away. ~ Kirsten from Iowa
