I remember Candy Necklaces from when I was in grade school. I went to a one room school house and I was the only one in my grade. I had only one teacher and used an outhouse, I am only 30 now. The school teacher Mrs. Hubbard would treat us very special when we did well, we were a close school, much like a family, so when we were good and so on she would take us one by one to her house for a dinner of our choice, and movies. One the way to her house, we go to choose a type of candy...I always chose the candy necklaces. I still eat them. I remember just how special she made me feel as a person, not just as a student. Average Rating    Old Fashioned Candy Lover   I ordered many different items from Old Time Candy for a friends birthday basket. It was so fun finding all of the old candies we ate growing up and giving them to her. An excellent gift idea, and everything was so fresh when it arrived. So much fun!!
