"candy you ate as a kid" story?
Share it here.I remember Candy Necklaces from when I was in grade school. I went to a one room school house and I was the only one in my grade. I had only one teacher and used an outhouse, I am only 30 now. The school teacher Mrs. Hubbard would treat us very special when we did well, we were a close school, much like a family, so when we were good and so on she would take us one by one to her house for a dinner of our choice, and movies. One the way to her house, we go to choose a type of candy...I always chose the candy necklaces. I still eat them. I remember just how special she made me feel as a person, not just as a student. So I connect Candy Necklaces to Mrs. Hubbard and my one room school house in Nebraska. ~ Heather from Nebraska
