Canada Mints memories... When I was a little girl, say around 4 or 5, my daddy told us he was 12 years old, which seemed very old to me! He would go off to work every day, and every Friday he would come home with a bag of pink Wintergreen mints because it was pay day, and that's how they paid him. My sisters and I were always happy that he shared his pay with us. Oh, how wonderful to be a grownup working for wintergreens! ~ Nancy from Washington

Back when I was about 4 years old, my grandmother used to take me on weekly visits to my "Moo Moo's" house. "Moo Moo" as far as I know means grandmother or great grandmother in Finnish, I don't even know if I'm spelling it correctly. Moo Moo's house had no TV, no radio, no toys and was quite boring as my grandmother spoke to her in Finnish... but Moo Moo had a BIG bowl of pink Canada mints, that had a great texture and seemed like a huge piece of candy to me at the time. By time they were done gossiping I had at least ten in my belly and my pockets full of even more. I raided that bowl of candy every week and it was always full to overflowing the next when I returned. ~ Stacy from Florida

My Mother started me on Canada peppermints when I was about 6 or 7 years old. These were and still are our favorite candies. I can remember getting them in a green box of about 10 or 12 mints. From there they went to a roll of mints and then I would buy them in bulk bags.

We tried the spearmint and the wintergreen but we always came back to the peppermint flavored candies. I especially liked the mints after the dampness got them soft. Much to our disappointment we can no longer get these wonderful candies here. Thank you for allowing an old woman a wonderful childhood memory (almost 60 years old). ~ Cheryl from Virginia

When I was growing up in New Orleans, Louisiana my mom, dad and I had to use the car ferry to cross the Mississippi River to get into the city of New Orleans. On the upper deck of the ferry was an area where candies where sold. It was here when I was 4 years old that my mom and dad introduced me to Canada Mints. They instantly became my favorite candy (for 53 years) in the world and still are to me the best candy on the market. Thanks for keeping my childhood memories alive by selling this candy. ~ Mary from Louisiana
