Back in the early '60's, dad had a charge account at a small family store called Gambiani's in Centenary, IN. Every Friday when he got paid, we went to the store to pay the bill. The owner always gave us a sack full of penny candy and I would trade all of my other candy to my 2 sisters for all of their Black Jacks.
My dad must have told Louie what I did, because the next time we went, he handed me my very own little paper sack full of Black Jacks. I was in heaven! And now, thanks to you, I have my own little piece of heaven back. Now, I can get these to give to my grandson and let him know how good Black Jacks were. Thanks again! ~ Cheryl from Indiana
