I grew up in Ohio eating Black Jack Taffy and taking it for granted. It's funny, because I do not like "regular" black licorice. This taffy is definitely lighter. For a few years, my mother was able to find it in the grocery and send it to me. My husband became hooked since he had never had it before. Because she would only send it once a year, we would ration it carefully.
I was in Ohio only 3 weeks ago and could not find it in any grocery - a big disappointment to both of us. He's going to love the surprise when my order arrives. ~ Susan from Washington
