Do you have a favorite "candy you ate as a kid" story? Share it here.I love, love love Runts candy, the Banana ones are my faves... I remember going to the bus station one time to pick up my much older sister and dad got us all a handful of Runts from the machine, turning the handle to slow to get the most candy. I would buy the candies by the box when I was old enough to go to the store.

Recently, I rediscovered Runts through my children, my daughter was excited because of the release of the Charlie and the Chocolate factory movie and saw a Wonka symbol on the runts box. I found a tin collector can of Runts imported to Canada by Nestle, I carry it in my purse and take it out once in a while, it truly does make me smile. Santa brought each of my three children their own collector tin of Runts in their Christmas stockings this past year. ~ Sabrina from Maine
