My grandmother on my dad's side had 9 kids. Since my dad is second to the last, she had a LOT of grandkids by the time I came along. She never had a lot of money for treats or toys. Animal crackers were a special surprise from her.

Since there was only one old red wagon to play with at her house, we always played with the crackers for awhile before we ate them! They became roaring circus animals, jungle creatures, or spectacular pets. Animal crackers & your imagination can fill up an afternoon better than video games! ~Dawn from California
