"candy you ate as a kid" story?
Share it here. When I was growing up, my dad would make me take swimming lessons every week during the summer at a local campground. I hated the lessons and every time we'd leave for them, I'd try to come up with some excuse why I didn't need them. Ultimately, they never worked and I ended up having to practice different strokes till my arms were sore. Luckily, my dad would reward me with candy from the campground's store if I did well for the day. One candy I always got was Airheads. I'd beg for lots, though always settled for one of each flavor.
It's now many years later and I still pick up Airheads now and again when I see them in stores, they are the candy that taught me to swim after all. ~ Rich from New York
